He has a moral attitude (because he is unapologetically Christian) which turns out to be important in the field of psychology. His Christianity, though, as well as his academic background, come through (for me, at least) as important weaknesses. The most obvious example of this is that Hubbard (as well as Lobaczewski) have come up with information and suggestions regarding this problem that Jordan does not even seem to be aware of. He should at least be aware of these other contributors to this subject and be able to refer to them. Thus, I see Jordan as caught up in a game that is very common among those who seek (or achieve) popularity for their work, which is that they want their work to appear totally different and new compared with anything else around. Playing this game has tended to fragment many fields. Psychology is an obvious example. But you can even find it in theoretical physics.
Meanwhile, you have an applied science like electronics that has drawn its schematics basically the same way for nearly 100 years, even though "electricity does not flow from plus to minus." In an applied science like that, who cares if the process is "old fashioned" as long as it remains workable? We even see vinyl records and photographic film coming back into use. These are workable technologies; why bury them forever?

One way they can do this is by exploiting certain flaws in the framework/ideology, things that it leaves out or over-emphasizes, misapplying concepts to things they don't apply to, and so on.

This leaves us with the question, how true is *any* concept/framework/ideology?
Partly, the answer is that no such framework is complete, or totally accurate. There are always holes, one-sidedness etc. that can be exploited. Maps are not the terrain and all that.
Also, they need to be understood properly in their deepest ramifications, including ambiguities. They need to be connected by the receptive reader to his own deeper vision of reality, which in some sense must be there in the first place.
This means we need to update our concepts and language, and even come up with new frameworks from time to time to look at the human condition with fresh eyes, when the older ones just don't quite connect anymore. Hence Lobachevsky is right that the old religious language is inadequate in many ways - maybe not so much because it's incorrect, but because it doesn't connect us to the underlying forms quite as well anymore.
Something more seems to be missing though: maybe it's the right hemisphere perception that needs to balance it all out, maybe it's that deeper soul vision that can correct misapplications, one-sidedness etc.

You make some good points here L.P. The sophistry and complexity of the dark arts like witchcraft, statecraft, king-craft etc, tend to muddy the waters of our understanding to the point of frustration in intelligence/counter-intelligence psychology/reverse psychology and the failure to apply any single standard to multiple problems/situations with any simplicity. That is probably why I really enjoyed the simplicity of Ken Schooland's 'Philosophy of Liberty" video on YouTube, as a defining factor between individual values and group think values. I try to weigh up the aggregate contribution of public figures like Rogan and Peterson, to decide if they are a nett good for humanity. You make some good points here L.P. The sophistry and complexity of the dark arts like witchcraft, statecraft, king-craft etc, tend to muddy the waters of our understanding to the point of frustration in intelligence/counter-intelligence psychology/reverse psychology and the failure to apply any single standard to multiple problems/situations with any simplicity. That is probably why I really enjoyed the simplicity of Ken Schooland's 'Philosophy of Liberty" video on YouTube, as a defining factor between individual values and group think values. There is nothing wrong with being horrified by the collateral damage in Gaza and proposing more humane ways of dealing with Hamas if there really are any and critiquing Israeli excesses. Little further context was provided. I hadn't watched the podcast nor read any excerpts from it, and lazily accepted their point of view. As you clearly show in your nuanced analysis, he also made some good and important points.
I try to weigh up the aggregate contribution of public figures like Rogan and Peterson, to decide if they are a nett good for humanity. In recent times, Peterson moved into the red from my perspective, but if he provides a global platform for ponerological ideas - even if they are watered down and or plagiarised (do you think they are, btw?) - then he's in the black again as far as I am concerned.
