I posted this elsewhere:

On the subject of abortion, the acceptance of this has always seemed to me to indicate loss of empathy in a society.....heading towards loss of conscience. You know...like Psychopathy. It would be a real coup to get a once normal and ethical society to accept unlimited abortion (Canada has been there since 1988), which would be a major step into a psychopathic realm. Next comes state euthanasia.

It was never about "women's rights". You can see how quickly the supposedly sacred bodily autonomy was tossed aside during COVID Mania. But they weren't going to come out and tell the masses what they had in mind, were they?

Expand full comment

Though this may be true, I would not take abortion as a central example of the intrusion of psychopathy into human society. The desire or need of some women to abort has been with humanity for a very long time. In the U.S., it was not until organized Medicine took on the issue in the later 1800s that it really became a target of secular legislation. At that time organized Medicine supported anti-abortion laws. Apparently this was motivated by a desire to push women practitioners (mostly midwives) out of the field of medicine.

Who were the criminals in that activity? Who were the ones hiding their true intentions?

Now organized Medicine has abandoned their anti-abortion campaign. And it seems most people would like the subject to recede from the realm of politics and return to being a personal decision between a woman and her chosen caregiver. I have to agree.

A much better target, I think, would be the ancient argument that the "common good" sometimes requires the suspension of ordinary human rights. The Great Pyramid (we can imagine) was built using slave labor for the "common good." In the U.S., cotton was raised using slave labor to the benefit of U.S. trade. Kings used to argue that what was good for them was - by definition - good for the people. And Marx argued that the only way to bring equal results to workers was through a dictatorship. Dictators have killed millions of people in the name of ideology. Those dictators were almost certainly psychopaths, and should never have been given the opportunity to rule, nor should have many of their advisors, often much more insane and dangerous than the leaders they supposedly served.

In order to speak about it, to find an answer, to debate about it, we would need to consider "Creative, birth, the feminine, life, death" in an equation.

Given the presence of such elements at hand, we are barely touching concepts such as "God", "The Creation".

I suppose, strictly speaking, that for the answer to be found, it would require a perfect knowledge of the Universe, the Cosmos, how things work. Without an accurate and objective "cosmology", it seems really impossible to provide a correct answer.

I can barely see how any debate failing to take the spiritual aspect in consideration may be worth nothing.

The spiritual aspect is the big one. Human consciousness enters matter when egg meets sperm in the womb.

Harrison, Excellent series from what I’ve seen thus far. Because of other commitments at present I haven’t quite managed to take it all in. To that end in fact I’ll be revisiting each instalment again soon as the series as a whole relates to several projects I'm presently working on. I was particularly taken with the example provided of the estimable Lyndon Baines Johnson (aka LBJ), a man whose personality pathologies I’m very familiar with. I was a good friend of Philip Nelson, the author of what many consider to be the definitive insight into those “pathologies”, and like yourself he was a guest on my TNT radio show when it was running. (Sadly Phil passed away last year). LBJ is without doubt one of the archetypal poster boys of the PPP personality. For readers interested in Mr Nelson’s work, here’s a link. 👀👉 https://lbjthemasterofdeceit.com

Loving the article. Quick tip: Your poster image is clipping off the top. Substack likes a 14 wide by 10 high format. If you expand the background to that format (say with white or black background), your LBJ preview will not be clipped any more. (At least when I last used this hack).

An excellent article! I feel rather shaken because when reading I realised that I have been under attack by such a person, I am indeed being sued by them. It was shocking to see their personality laid out so accurately - I mean every facet! They have no ability to empathise; the particular attack I’m under happened when my husband of thirty years died.

This piece will help me to understand much better what has happened to me over the last year. Thank you 🙏🏻

It sounds as if you became more vulnerable when your husband died.

Part of the shield against such people is to GREYROCK, as well as becoming more self-confident.

You might read the suggestions by Melanie T. Evans in her book on Narcissistic Abuse. I am not keen on her talk of angels, but her more practical suggestions really are helpful.

Thank you for the suggestions. Yes, we had been tenants for eleven years without any problems. The first time we met after he died, she said that if someone died she found it best to pretend that they were still alive! Obviously this alerted me to the fact that all was not well in her head!

Narcissistic Personality Disorder/Borderline Personality Disorder are on the same Cluster-B spectrum, but not as severe as Psychopathy. More common.

There are any number of good books on the general market (try the Amazon Books site) explaining how one extreme polar end of this spectrum attracts the other polar end ("Human Magnet Syndrome" by Ross Rosenberg). In other words, Narcissistic Personality Disorder will attract Codependence, and vice versa. Both parties need to move toward the middle, but the Narcissist is unlikely to do so....therefore it is your move.

The problems arose because I’m not a Codependent Personality and didn’t jump to at her command - I knew the law and was not intimidated and for that I had to be punished. I have moved now and am out of her grasp. Her legal claim is entirely false and she has now asked to meet to come to an agreement out of court which I will refuse; I’m not going anywhere near her, to avoid embarrassment she will have to drop the case.

I guess before reading this article I had never looked at her (or anyone) as a personality type but after reading it, it was as clear as day.

I'll read this all, but you do realize this text from the article quoted as follows:

~

"The data indicate those of DP who remain out of prison are more likely to be of higher intelligence and socioeconomic status, have better impulse control capability, and are more adept at creating compelling facades, leading double lives, the ‘dark’ side of which most people are unable and/or unwilling to see, even where there may be subtle or even obvious indicators. The data also indicate higher functioning people of DP engage more effectively in underhanded tactics that prevent exposure and accountability, are better at grooming or manipulating others to support them, and are more likely to harm using methods that are subtle, ongoing and leave no evidence, resulting in emotional and mental ‘torture’ which their targets/victims struggle to recount to others."

~

You realize that text could just as well be applied to a deemed "great leader" as to a psychopath? So what makes the difference one ponders? Because a great leader knows those who are in the "midst" - and communication is nuanced.....but I think it is fair to conclude that LBJ was nothing but a big Tejas bully ahole full of himself and full of harm and that is PROVEN - and I don't know about you - but bullies rub me the wrong way and when I confront them or god help me get confronted by them......well, best to not speak of that, but bullies always get their due, and payment is demanded.

I'd like to suggest that there is a thin line betwixt love and hate....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXwowpeZlcg

tis nuanced....and now that I'm rambling....I think when the 21st century is imagined in the future - it will be labeled as the "end of bullies" time and I suspect that Polish fella - Andrzej Łobaczewski - would take pleasure in that!

So hopefully it comes to be.

Regards,

BK

Yes, because many "great leaders" ARE psychopaths. The ones who aren't don't have to create compelling facades, use psychopathic manipulations to groom others, or use emotional torture techniques on others to get their jollies.

I'm pretty skeptical of that theory. They found one pussy-faced photo of Castro that looks like Justin Trudeau, but they don't look similar in any others. And you can see a lot of him in his father, Pierre.

Now if you want to see an uncanny resemblance, compare photos of LBJ and Golda Meir!

I disagree with you, old thing.

Justin looks nothing at all like Pierre, and very much like Fidel. His two fathers were good friends, with Pierre making many clandestine visits to Cuba during the early 60s, trailed by American Intelligence from Florida.

Pierre was bisexual....ahem. And Pierre/Margaret honeymooned in the Caribbean in March 1971; Justin was born in December 1971. Fidel remained a "good family friend" to the Communist Troodo family forever after.

And Margaret had been as non-discriminating in her love-life as Pierre was; I don't think she would have minded an "arrangement" while on honeymoon. She hinted as much during her many talk show interviews of the 70s.

C'mon.....😁

If you want backup for this - just say so - I can provide it - but do your own due diligence - and Castro was happy to plant his seed in that dalliance chick thought she could fuck this and that and there would be no consequence.....now the folks living in Canada suffer the outcome of her disregard for scales and balance - Lady Libra scoffs at her and all her dalliances with dicks and others she thought she could wrap herself around.....

You do apples as well as red peppers, Ken?

I am a Canadian who has both lived in many Troodo-insanities and followed the information over the years. There used to be files from valid American sources on the internet -- wiped several years ago -- detailing Pierre's illegal trips to Cuba on fishing boats from Florida, in the early 60s before he became Prime Minister here.

American Intelligence sources were asking why Canadians would elect a Communist PM. Although most of the naive folks here in Nice-Land would not have thought of Communism in one of their own. Which is how Pierre got away with it. He also had trips to visit Mao in Communist China. And he was in the USSR. Again, no one here asked questions. Those trips were all about brotherhood, you know...

At their March 1971 wedding, Pierre Troodo was 51 and his bride Margaret was 22. It wasn't love....it was about the Fidel-arrangement that was coming. It was all about the Rosemary's Baby thing. Pierre and Fidel wanted a future Communist Prince to take over North America. One was to sire him, the other to raise him.

Margaret bore two of Pierre's own children very soon after giving birth to Justin in late 1971. And then the marriage was over. She was carted away to be diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, though not before she managed a salacious book and several national TV talk show interviews unbecoming to a PM's wife.

The boys were raised (Communist) by Pierre and nannies. Justin is low-intelligence, but high on power-mongering. Brother Alexandre worked producing PR film documentaries for the Iranian regime. The youngest son was killed in an avalanche.

It is a Communist dynasty. Lusting for power and destruction. Good friends with fellow shyster Maurice Strong.

Yes, and if you’ve read the early Robert Caro volumes on LBJ, Caro documents that Johnson was a physical coward. In one instance when Johnson was a college student he was confronted by another student ready to fight. Johnson laid down on his back in his dorm room bed, flailing his arms and legs like a girl to keep the aggressor away. All the congressman in the photo had to do was to stand up to LBJ in a physically aggressive manner and he would have backed down. Of course a swift kick to the balls would also have been effective.

It's true, and there have been two times in my life when I've had to really get physically confrontational with a bully and in both cases they folded so completely, it was embarrassing. One was half a foot taller than me and the other was a literal bodybuilder and they both turned out to be total cowards.

HOWEVER—and this is why I still contend that antisocial is something different than sociopath or malignant narcissist—I have also known a number of antisocial types who were absolutely NOT cowards. If someone stood up to them they relished the opportunity to do violence. I knew a number of skinheads when I was a teenager and they were not putting on a show, "all bark and no bite". Most people, even tough guys, don't actually want to get in a fight if they can help it, but antisocials do. This is why you DON'T want to stand up to them because they will gladly beat your ass.

Luckily, true antisocials have no 'mask of sanity' and you can figure out pretty quickly who to get the hell away from.

Readers herein might of interest find my 2 part series written on the 50th anniversary of the attack by Israel on the USS Liberty.

In this two part article, I look at the origins and causes of the 1967 Six Day War between Israel and the Arab states of #Egypt, #Syria, and #Jordan. Within that context we examine the attack by the Israeli Defence Forces (#IDF) during that conflict on the US naval reconnaissance ship the USS Liberty, occasioning the loss of 34 American lives and scores of casualties. To this day, despite well documented, irrefutable evidence it was a deliberate, unprovoked attack, the official position of both the US and Israeli governments is that it was a case of “mistaken identity”.

Along with showcasing one of the most shameful episodes in U.S. military history, it presents us an opportunity to place into broader, now ever more urgent relief, the history of America’s increasingly contentious and counterproductive relationship with Israel, in addition to probing the role of both nations in events unfolding in and across the Greater Middle East.

It further invites us to reexamine the role played in these events by one of America’s most psychopathic and criminally inclined of Oval Officeholders, Lyndon Baines Johnson (LBJ), the man referred to by some as America’s “first Jewish president”. On all counts, author Phillip Nelson’s book “Remember the Liberty: Almost Sunk by Treason on the High Seas” provides us ample context and perspective within which to contemplate all of this and more.

The USS Liberty story is one that’s been close to my heart as a writer for some time. This is largely due to Phil’s work in exposing this war crime. Prior to him publishing his excellent book on the Liberty, I learned about this through his earlier work exposing the dark side of one Lyndon B Johnson, America’s 36th president, in his two volume expose of the man and his peculiar psycho-pathologies.

When time came to publishing his Liberty book, I worked with Phil in the lead up to its release to produce for posterity my own take on the attack and the events in which it occurred. This two parter represents the results of that collaboration. GM

I met three women, one muslim, all marxists, who really scared me last night. They were talking about the psychological utility of inflicting irrational harm with gleeful little smirks. When they addressed me, I felt malice. I generally trust people to a fault, so I don't believe calculating, vindictive and contemptuous looks were accidental. A casual observer wouldn't notice threat. “In coercive control, perpetrators can give subtle signals to their victims that they are angry and are going to punish them."

Those eyes and that subdued glee about sinister topics was really uncharacteristic of most people, especially women. The mentality reminded me to finish reading "Political Ponerology".

These people are not going away. I can avoid guys who are going to threaten me with knives. There is nowhere to go to avoid politically active fanatics. "the psychopath’s “hyperactive” or persistent nature, as well as their “pathological egotism”"

For me, the point is that this is not a brush-off issue. It's not a problem that we should continue to ignore. These personalities are causing a LOT of problems for the rest of us; doing a LOT of damage. They are not the ONLY problem we have as humans, but they have been a large and continuing problem for us at all social and economic levels for a very long time. As they take (and seek) advantage of modern technologies, their potential for harm only increases.

What my teacher has always been concerned about is that these personalities seek to disrupt or destroy workable technologies. Technologies that people use to understand, to heal, and to be more productive; to survive. As we become more dependent on relatively complex technologies for our daily work and survival, it behooves us to make sure they are protected from alterations that would render them less workable.
